Getting You There

Our firm specializes in helping individuals develop sound retirement strategies. If you are retired – or approaching retirement – please take the time to explore our website and the wealth of information we offer. We offer personalized, hands-on service. We educate our clients about financial concepts and strategies, and take the mystery out of investing, insurance, estate conservation, and preserving wealth.

We understand the many challenges of retirement today and know the biggest concern for many is outliving their money. We focus on money management, as well as other issues that are critical to your financial well being.

Accumulation

Accumulation planning addresses an individual’s investment needs, asset allocation, and the suitability of different types of securities in light of your goals and risk tolerance.

Business Planning

Proper business planning develops transition strategies for small business owners that will allow them to fully tap into the value of the business during retirement years.

Estate Planning

Estate plans guide the process of transferring your wealth to your beneficiary-- whether that be the next generation or a charity, while minimizing transfer taxes.

Retirement Planning

Retirement planning involves evaluating your current financial standing and creating an accumulation strategy that will help to ensure a desired retirement lifestyle. Developing a plan during the wealth-building life stage should address ways to maximize growth and tax-efficient distributions.

Risk Management

Risk management is intended to minimize risk to financial and other losses. Some examples of risk are personal and professional liability, business ownership, and catastrophic illness or disability. Your first line of defense is to identify your sources of risk and then to either avoid or minimize the major exposures.

Taxation

Tax planning considers the tax implications of individual, investment, or business decisions, usually with the goal of minimizing tax liability. While decisions are rarely made solely on their tax impact, you should have a working knowledge of the income or estate tax issues and costs involved.

Our Process:

Introductory Meeting

We get to know you, your goals, and a basic understanding of your financial situation.  Through the introductory meeting both of us are able determine if we are a good fit for working together.

Discovery Session

At this meeting, we work with you to complete the Discovery process, which is a deep dive into your current financial position, your goals and objectives, as well as your risk tolerance.

Plan Presentation Meeting

At this meeting we present your financial plan that covers strategy recommendations in the six areas of financial planning, which include: current cash flow/budgeting, retirement income planning, investment planning, risk management, tax planning and estate planning.

45-DAY Review Meeting

Shortly after we’ve established your investment account, we check to make sure you are comfortable with accessing the Client 1st Portal and custodial websites. We aim to make sure that you can easily find the documents and information you need when you need it. We want to keep open lines of communication to make sure everything is working to your liking.

Regular Reviews

We like to meet with our clients quarterly to semi annually to review investment performance and update financial plan. These regular reviews are important to make sure you stay on track with your financial goals as well as keeping us informed of changes in your financial situation that might dictate a change in your investment strategy.
